Our school proudly participated in UNESCO’s International Day of Women and Girls in Science campaign, celebrating the achievements of women who have shaped the world through science.Students explored the lives and contributions of pioneering women scientists through engaging activities and presentations showcasing their groundbreaking work. We read inspiring books and held thoughtful discussions on the challenges women in science have faced and how the world would benefit from more women in STEM fields. Students also brought history to life by coloring portraits of famous women scientists and learning about their discoveries. They researched and created projects to present their chosen scientists, deepening their appreciation for these trailblazing figures. The student's work is on exhibition for the student body to browse and learn. Through these activities, we encouraged our students to recognize the importance of diversity in science and to dream big, knowing that they, too, can contribute to the world of discovery and innovation.
