Our school celebrated World Poetry Day by participating in UNESCO’s initiative, Gift a Poem. Throughout the day, students explored the beauty of poetry in both Greek and English. They listened to and recited inspiring verses, watched poetry performances and expressed their creativity through drawings inspired by poems. In the spirit of sharing, they also gifted poems to one another, spreading the magic of words.
This celebration not only fostered a love for poetry but also encouraged our students to appreciate the power of language and creativity. Through rhythm, rhyme, and imagery, they discovered how poetry connects us all, across cultures and languages.
